Balmoral Visits Mostyn

Photographs © John Thomas 2007

Scenes at Mostyn on June 12, 2007 when around 200 passengers boarded the classic coastal cruise ship for a a "Round Anglesey" cruise. The Port of Mostyn on the River Dee was very busy as VILLE DE BORDEAUX had arrived just prior to Balmoral's departure. A frequent visitor to the port has been the ELKE, whilst various barges and rigs dealt with the windfarm equipment which currently dominates the dock area. The Airbus barge AFON DYFRDWY operated by Holyhead Towing was lurking nearby having delivered wings the previous day.
