Tamar II

Photographs © John H. Luxton 2005

On board TAMAR II one of the new buses constructed for First Bus Torpoint Ferry Service can be seen. The interior of the passenger accommodation boats one unisex toilet unlike the old ferries which had separate male and female conveniences.

On a rather grey and wet morning TAMAR II discharges at Devonport - March 29, 2005.

It is interesting to note that the new TAMAR II ferry operates with its passenger accomodation on the downstream side wheras PLYM II has the accomodation and consequently the open promenade deck on the upstream side of the vessel.
