Torpoint Ferry Lynher II In Service

A selection of views taken on April 14 / 15, 2006 of the third and final Ferguson built car ferry LYNHER II constructed for the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee which was introduced into service on February 10, 2006. Completed in 2005 she had been laid up at Port Glasgow pending completion of terminal improvement works at Devonport and Torpoint. As with the other two vessels PLYM II and TAMAR II, LYNHER II takes her name from a local river.
