Around high tide on Saturday January 20, 2007 two Stolt Tankers could be seen at anchor in the Mersey near the Cammell Laird shipyard. Both vessels were waiting to head up river for the Manchester Ship Canal bound for Stanlow. STOLT KITE had been at anchor overnight sheltering from the gales whilst STOLT TERN had locked out of Alfred around 09:40.
