HSS STENA EXPLORER departing Holyhead into the evening sunlight, exactly 10 years to the day since starting in service, on the 18:30 sailing. April, 10th 1996 was the original date, 06:40 am from Dun Laoghaire being the very first sailing, and I’m very pleased to say that I was on that crossing – albeit while working for McDonald’s at the time! |
