The Passage East Ferry provides a convenient link between Passage East in County Waterford and Ballyhack in County Wexford across the Suir Estuary.

The vessel which operates the link is the Philip of Dartmouth built EDMUND D [ex Shannon Heather]. Originally constructed for Shannon Ferry Ltd in 1968 she was laid up in 1996 before being sold to Passage East Ferry Company entering service as the EDMUND D in January 1998 replacing the FBD DUNBRODY.

These photographs show EDMUND D viewed from the Ballyhack side of the estuary.
