Managed by Euroship Services and owned by Waterways SA EQUINE is seen arriving on Merseyside on January 24 from Dublin on charter to P&O Irish Sea. However, due to adverse condition she aborted her arrival around lunchtime and headed out into Liverpool Bay. She returned and berthed around 16:00 shortly after NORBANK had departed on her delayed morning sailing. Originally it had been intended to deploy NORCAPE on the route, however, the chartered EQUINE was deployed instead to replace the chartered GLOBAL FREIGHTER as the third ship on the companies Dublin - Liverpool route.
