The Attempt to Move MSC Napoli

Photographs via Stuart Wood 2007

Photographs of the attempt to move the MSC NAPOLI on July 09/10, 2007. The ship having been deliberately run aground off Branscombe, Devon  following damage received in the January 18 storms. The move was abandoned and the ship grounded again due to the likelihood that the ship would break up if the tow continued. An attempt is being made to break the ship into two sections.
