Black Prince Deploys Her Marina Park in Crow Sound

Photographs © John H. Luxton 2005

BLACK PRINCE at anchor off Watermill Cove, Crow Sound, Isles of Scilly on Saturday July 30, 2005. The ship had called at Scilly whilst on a "Round Ireland" cruise from Liverpool. She had arrived from Cóbh and was sailing to Waterford after departure. Passengers conveyed to Hugh Town harbour, St. Mary's by Boatmen's Association vessels. One of the BLACK PRINCE tenders can be seen (right) being used for some touch up painting. These photographs show the "Marina Park" landing stage deployed through her stern door. This is normally stored on the former car deck
