Carnival Corporation - Holland America Line ship MAASDAM is seen on the Mersey and departing down Crosby Channel on Sunday July 29, 2007. Originally she had been the first ship due to call at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal facility. However, delays have meant that she had to anchor mid-river with Mersey Ferries providing tendering facilities. As time goes on it appears less likely that the cruise terminal extension to the landing stage will be ready to welcome her fleet mate PRINSENDAM on September 02, 2007.
