RNLB St. Cybi To The Rescue

The Douglas relief Lifeboat RNLB ST. CYBI was called off exercise at 11:00 on Sunday July 24, 2005 to go to the aid of the yacht MARSHELLE of Beaumaris (18 tons). The vessel  had with three persons on board and had reported engine problems whilst on  passage from Preston to Douglas, ST. CYBI  47-032 took the yacht in tow, which was found drifting 4.5 miles from Douglas and returned to port at around 13:15. (Thanks to RNLI Douglas for the full details.)
