HMS Bulwark

Though dressed overall for the Navy Days event Landing Platform Dock HMS BULWARK was not open to the public.

Earlier in the year it had been anticipated that, as at the 2004 Navy Days, the public would be able to travel out to the vessel by Landing Craft which would have been anchored in the Hamoaze.

However, the ship had to deploy to the Lebanon at the end of July to evacuate UK Citizens caught up in the Israeli blockade and as a consequence, most of her crew were on leave during Navy Days.
