| Commissioners of Irish Lights tender GRANUAILE arrived on the Mersey on the afternoon tide of June 12 bound for Birkenhead #7 Dry Dock. This impressive state of the art lighthouse tender was commissioned in 2000, having been built by Dutch shipbuilders Damen to a design by the Sea Containers marine architect subsidiary Hart Fenton. This is believed to be the GRANUAILE's first visit to Merseyside. | |||
