LE EITHNE [P31] had returned from patrol to the Naval Base at Haulbowline Island by late afternoon July 25, 2004.

She remained on the refuelling berth and was photographed again on July 27. LE EITHNE was constructed at Cork Dockyard in 1983 and commissioned in 1984. She was the final ship to be constructed at the yard.
