The
passenger ferry DAVID F was originally built as the ZWOLLE in the Netherlands in 1962. DAVID F was operated by Marine Transport Services Ltd serving the Whiddy Island Oil Terminal in Bantry Bay until 1970. Leased by Maritime Transport Services Ltd to the Naval Service until 1989 DAVID F passed into INS ownership.

The passenger ferry FIACH DUBH
[tr: RAVEN]. Originally built for Marine Transport Services Ltd by Arklow Engineers Ltd in 1981 as the WHITE POINT.
FIACH DUBH was sold to the Irish Naval Service in December 1985. FIACH DUBH
has a passenger capacity of 51. She is seen here in the Naval Service

SWALLOW] constructed 1971 in the Netherlands for Marine Transport Services of
Cóbh. Sold to Naval Service in November 1982. She is seen departing from the
Naval Service Pier at Cóbh during the morning commuter run to the base. |
