Mersey Mammoth Working At Runcorn Old Quay

MERSEY MAMMOTH made her first journey up the Manchester Ship Canal during December 2006. She sailed up to Old Quay on Monday December 11. Her mission was to move the old lock gates which have rested against the canal river wall opposite the former Old Quay Maintenance Depot which is currently being redeveloped for residential use.
