The sorry remains of Mersey Ferries George's Landing Stage on the morning of Saturday March 04, 2006 two days after the stage sank. As can be seen the stage as moved somewhat down stream towards the remaining section of Prince's Landing Stage, used by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. A notice advises passengers that the cruise service will continue to operate from Seacombe and Woodside and to check www.merseyferries.co.uk for further details.
