Liverpool Cruise Terminal First Call - Seven Seas Voyager

Photographs © John H. Luxton 2007

SEVEN SEAS VOYAGER became the first passenger vessel to use the new City of Liverpool Cruise Terminal when she arrived from Dublin on Sunday September 09, 2007. The Seadance Leasing owned ship which is chartered to Regent Seven Seas Cruises of For Lauderdale, Florida berthed unassisted. Svitzer Tugs THORNGARTH and  SVITZER STANLOW were in attendance to provide the water monitor greeting as she sailed up river to the landing stage. Everything went very smoothly with the ship having the first ropes ashore just a few minutes behind schedule at around 08:08. Despite it being fairly early on a Sunday morning quite a few spectators had gathered to watch to event.
