Vivax Departs for Whitegate

Ostensjo tug VIVAX at the Lee Towing berth, Deepwater Quay, Cóbh on October 24, 2005. Usually Lee Towing operate the Ostensjo tug ALEX. However, ALEX was off duty, refitting at the nearby Cork Dockyard, thus VIVAX was on station. She is seen here departing en-route to the Whitegate Oil Refinery Pier to assist the departure of a tanker.
