The preserved AMERICAN VICTORY based at Tampa. She is a Victory ship, an improvement on the design of the Liberty Ship both in terms of size, strength and speed. These ships served during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. AMERICAN VICTORY was towed to Tampa Bay for restoration in 1999 which was completed in 2003.
